The Quebec division…at a glance

It was in December 1977 that Uni-Select acquired the building located at 170 Boulevard Industriel. Three years later, the Boucherville warehouse became operational. To this day, the offices of the corporate headquarters as well as those of the Quebec division still occupy this same building.

The Boucherville distribution center was, for a long time, the most important distributor of automotive parts in Canada. With its 163,000 sq.ft of surface, the warehouse accommodates more than 145,000 national brand name parts, representing an inventory of almost $20 million. More than 200 people work within the division including 91 in the warehouse.

The network brings together 106 independent members, which represent more than 200 auto parts stores serving 467 repair shops under the Uni-Pro and The Specialist banners and 850 under the SAX (Sélect Auto Xpert) program. As for the ProColor Prestige banner, it counts 106 collision repair shops that have access to the Uni-Select training center.

The Quebec division is the founder of many initiatives, one of them being the biggest exposition in eastern Canada: the “Expo Vente”. The latter regroups, under one roof, more than 200 exhibitors including suppliers of products and services that are visited during two days by 6,000 technicians. It is also during this event that suppliers’ representatives and the highly performing members of our network and within the industry are recognized at a celebratory breakfast event.

In addition to having its own programs and activities, the division is proactive and thus supports those developed at the national level in order to always better meet its customers’ needs. Whether it is during the conference, the regional meetings, the incentive trip or training seminars, all efforts are made to ensure that our network’s members are informed and can tackle the industry and market changes.
