 The first Auto-Plus store in Cameroon opens its doors!

On May 11, 2011 the first ever Uni-Select auto parts store opened in Cameroon, under the Auto-Plus banner. The owner, Jean-Philippe Tchiekou, and the Uni-Select "hostesses" greeted Uni-Select's Jean Rivard, Vice-President-Special projects, and Mario Comtois, Sales Development Manager for Quebec division, as well as special guests for the store's opening ceremony in Yaoundé. Following Mr. Rivard's address to the assembled guests, the Uni-Select delegation was invited to meet with Canada's High Commissioner to Cameroon, Mr. Jean-Carol Pelletier, at his official residence in order to discuss further development if its network in the country. In the final days of their visit, the delegation was given the opportunity to discuss this unique project in Sub-Saharan Africa, along with the development of the work force, with the country's Prime Minister, Mr. Philémon Yang.

Tribute to Industry Pioneers

Initiated in 2005 by Rousseau Automotive Communication, the Tribute to Industry Pioneers gala, which was held on November 25, 2010, was the perfect occasion to celebrate the outstanding contributions of those leaders who have marked the automotive aftermarket industry in Quebec.

Jacques Landreville, former President and CEO of Uni-Select, was one the evening’s honorees. Daring, motivated and accomplished, Jacques Landreville has been an outstanding leader whose contribution in the company’s success cannot be overestimated.

From the moment he took the reins of Uni-Select in 1991, his contribution has been significant as the company increased its acquisitions and established significant business partnerships in both Canada and the United States. To this day, he continues to share his vast expertise and innovative spirit as a Member of the Uni-Select Board of Directors.

On behalf of all the Uni-Select employees and executives, we congratulate Jacques for the tribute much deserved paid to him, but more importantly, we thank him for his invaluable contribution and commitment to the success of the industry!

An outstanding success for the 24h of Tremblant!

A marvelous mixture of fun, helping and skiing was held at the Mont Tremblant Resort, from December 11 to 13, 2009. The 9th annual 24h of Tremblant helped raise $ 1,510,912 to help sick and underpriviledged kids!

With help from many of our suppliers, such as Malga, St-Mary Lewer (The Lewer Insurance Agency Ltd), Nebs, Wynford, Intact insurance, Lithographie Monette and Focus,  the Uni-Select team raised $ 7,640 in donations. We would like to thank our generous contributors as well as our sponsors who helped dress, in warm winter gear, all of our skiers : Gary O’Connor, Brendan O’Brien,  Pierre Chesnay, Guy Archambault, Robert Tribe, Luc L’espérance and Annie Hotte.

A quarterly magazine for repair shops…The Instal Mag keeps your customers informed!

Uni-Select's Automotive Group Canada (CAG) recognizes the importance of sharing information and maintaining close communication channels with its network’s customers. As such, CAG was pleased to launch, in 2008, a new quarterly magazine which provides its repair shops with useful information on the different programs, promotions, updated rates, as well as on marketing tools available and how to use them, and much more.
